It's corruption, not its. It's is an abbreviation of IT IS. (ITS means belonging to it, as in "the house and its yard.") I know, millions of people confuse it's and its, the one exception to the rule the you make the possessive of a noun by adding 's (Earth's atmosphere, Holder's corruption.) Most Americans (and Britons, for that matter) have no idea how and when to use the apostrophe - and when not to. They either stop using it altogether, or make the plural of, e.g. car by writing car's. An apostrophe usually indicates missing letter(s). In early English one would have referred to "John, his horse," but one of the beauties of English is that clumsy formations usually disappear; so now we say "John's horse."

Capitol Hill- It was another tense hearing for Attorney General Eric Holder on Capitol Hill where he testified before the House Judiciary Committee about Justice Department Oversight today. Holder was asked about and covered a variety of topics, but his personal role and those of his senior Justice Department officials in the lethal Fast and Furious operation were front and center.
