This was a special order. Any business has the right to refuse a special order, whatever the reason. I am sure they could have bought whatever cupcakes he had on hand and all would have been happy. Maybe not all, but he would have been.

Your statement, "First, the correct 'control' would be a class where everyone was rewarded for his own behavior. All that Adams' experiment proves is -- surprise, surprise -- college students are forgetful, disorganized, and not good with rules IN GENERAL." is amazing. How do you think students are rewarded now...by their own test scores and behavior! Why would Mike use this as a 'control". You missed Mike's point. Also, these college students should not be forgetful, disorganized and should learn to respect rules. They are not children anymore. They are there to learn not play. Someone is paying big bucks for their education. I hope when my son is in college there are more professors like Mike Adams and Walter E Williams. He will need...

Neal

Your words should be used to ask one question, "You need to understand that small businesses like ours are responsible for about 80 percent of all private sector jobs in this country, and about 70 percent of all jobs that have been created over the past year. You also need to know that when you hear some politician talking about rich people who earn over $200,000 or $500,000 a year, they’re talking about the people who create the jobs."

President Obama, how do expect jobs to be created if you raise taxes on the small business owner?

I think this question has a chance to be asked. It will never be answered but it could be asked.

Your quote:

"also, i have a 45 year old brotherinlaw who had bypass surgery.
because of pre-existing condition he cannot get insurance for under 1000 a month.

there is something immoral about that."

What is immoral about this? He can get insurance it just more than he wants to pay. What should the rate be?
