The GOP should likewise take hard looks at Obama's past statements. Such as his past criticisms of the Afghan war effort, such as his past statements about high energy prices, such as past whispers to Russian presidents about flexibility, etc.
The Obama brain trust evidently believes it's got a winning message here, so brace yourselves for six more months of smug, smirking implications that Mitt Romney would have nixed last May's military and intelligence triumph:
