Once we get education under control by the people we'll be much better off. Also, if we can't make that happen fast enough, like 2013, we All as the People need to come together and understand that the two party system (dems/republicans) is a divide and conquer strategy that works for those crimmianl politicians and they are always the winners and we the loosers. 4-5 election cycles of a new philosophy Re-Elect No-One will get their attention to focus on the people of this country and not Special Interest. There's no denying the facts that Big Pharma and Insurance and Big Oil are all part of the pbm.

Random thoughts on the passing scene:

Many people may have voted for Barack Obama in 2008 because of his charisma. But anyone familiar with the disastrous track record of charismatic political leaders around the world in the 20th century should have run for the hills when they encountered a politician with charisma.

What is scarier than any particular political policy or issue is the widespread tendency to treat political issues as personal contests in talking points -- competitive skill in fencing with words -- rather than as serious attempts to find out what the facts are and what the options are.
