"He is altogether our immutable, All- Holy God. We would hardly add a glimmer to God's infinite glory. Yet, if we only take God for granted; we thereby commit the ultimate sin of injustice. He DESERVES to be served and adored. Which is what makes men deserve everlasting punishment. If God didn't reward the ultimate injustice with ultimate pain and sorrow; HE would be remiss in His infinite Justice. " Ok, that is just downright, no holds barred morally bankrupt.
"Who knows why? THOSE WHO PRAY, and receive his protection. They are witnesses to His power and glory. OTOH; if you never pray, never even acknowledge God's goodness; He will often withhold His blessings and protection. If He willed, you would be under his loving protection. He allows evil in one place; prevents evil in another place. NOTHING anywhere anytime is "random." Of course all of it is beyond our control. Mankind without God can't control BEANS!" Mankind WITH God can't control BEANS either. Those blessed, those who pray, those who don't, protection based on His loving will, evil in one place, prevented in another... You started the paragraph with "Who knows why?" If NOTHING is random, then God sure has a funny way of making...
Yes. But if God's such a great guy, why does he have to demand adoration?
"Dear Mark, you'll be a Catholic forever. In hell or in heaven; it's a character your soul is marked with, irremoveable. I've read a saint's works that say; even in hell, a baptized Catholic Christian will show the shining mark of his baptism. There it will cause him more sorrow and agony than even fire can. He'll be mocked and spit on by the demons; celebrating his eternal ruin; despite having had Christ once, his Savior. Needless to say; I hope you'll never go to hell. Go to heaven, Mark!" Whoever this saint was, that is an evil theology and indicative of mental illness. The fact that you would repeat such evil says something about you, Dread.
Dread, Your religion is a function of the time and geography of your birth, just as is the Krishnas. They can be as devout toward their religion as you of yours. Who is to say which is right? You, based on your own say so? You are an atheist to all gods but one. Take the last step and release yourself from that last one, and then you will finally know freedom.
She has long exited the shallows and evolved into a free thinker. Release yourself from the dogma, Mark, and become your own person.
No response.
"Therefore, Christians are not sinners as many misled people believe." What an arrogant statement. Doesn't the Bible say something about those who are prideful?
Why would an omnipotent, omniscient being even desire to bring glory to himself?
