Switzerland is a free and prosperous nation. They have a high standard of living. They have a very low crime rate. They also have compulsory military service for every man and woman, and they KEEP their service weapons when they go back to civilian life. They are expected to maintain readiness to defend their homes and their country, much like the Minutemen of our own Revolutionary War. Logic would suggest that the reason why they've managed to keep their freedom, their soveriegnty and their improbably low crime rate is because any potential burglar or invader KNOWS that there is someone in every single house with a military-grade weapon and the knowledge of how to use it.
...or how about showing equal anger over a President who uses other peoples' children as props??
No, that epithet belongs to the Democrats.
I used to think Christie stood for something. Now, I realize he's just standing in line with his hand out looking for more "Obama money". Maybe he got a free Obama phone so he has a direct line to his new bff. Hey, Bossman---how about focusing a little of that temper on the Dems who loaded up the FEMA bill with so much pork that the Repubs couldn't possibly vote for it?
I'd like to invite you to join Ms. Coulter and the rest of us in the new year. She hasn't supported him since he went on his butt-kissing tour of the Jersey shore with The Immaculated One. No doubt, she is as disappointed in Christie over the last 90 days as the rest of his conservative fans (myself inclued) are. He has shown himself to be a political opportunist and a RINO.
Christie needs to get off the fence and declare his abandonment of his conservative priciples and the Republican Party in general. If he doesn't quit the Republican Party, they should throw him out. In my opinion, his bootlicking of Obama on his tour of the Sandy-ravaged Jersey shore went a long way towards handing Obama a victory last November.

I've got news for you: if you think kids can't find pot right now, while it's still illegal, you are fooling yourself. Just as Prohibition taught us, if someone wants something, it won't matter whether it's illegal or not. All we are doing by continuing to keep pot in the same class of drugs as cocaine, LSD and meth are empowering gangs, thugs and vicious criminals to keep making money hand over fist. Prohibition gave us Al Capone. The War on Drugs gave us the Medellin and Cali cartels in Colombia, made the Taliban the world's #1 producer of opium and created the paramilitary narco-gangs in Mexico and Central America that will kill anyone, even cops, judges and government officials, who get in their way.

I am 100% in favor of legalizing marijuana, but I will not be voting for I-502 in WA state. It's a bad law. It will add a 25% tax to sales of pot in the Evergreen State, which already has the highest sales tax in the country. It will force the operators of currently-legal dispensaries to purchase a $1000 annual "Marijuana Tax Stamp" in order to stay in business, and the state can cherry-pick who will be allowed to purchase one. It will lower the threshold for a pot DUI from the current level of 10,000 ng of THC per ml of blood all the way down to just 5 ng. A non-pot-smoking person could test positive after walking through a room where someone was smoking a joint. Even NORML & the people who put on Seattle's Hempfest aren't supporting it.
Your observations hold true, but that doesn't change the undeniable scientific fact that there is only one race of humanity, with seven different breeds. Dog-wise, I prefer the company of the larger, more intelligent dogs, like Shepherds, Rottweilers, pit bulls, retrievers and such.
