There are two easy answers. Neither of them is correct. The first answer is advanced by proponents of liberalism. They say that the 2012 election was an ideological election, the seminal, long-awaited decision of the American public to fully embrace their inner socialists. This argument posits that Mitt Romney was an extreme conservative, Barack Obama was an extreme liberal, and the American people cast their lot with the liberal.

However, for me it’s not about demographics, it’s about values; the moral values that founded this great nation and allowed it to prosper and grow into the most free, progressive and powerful nation on earth. America is incrementally and systematically rejecting the moral principals upon which she was founded. As a result, our nation is experiencing unparalleled moral decay. National immorality flourishes when the heart and soul of a nation's citizens reject these principles; simply stated, decline in national morality leads to moral, political, and economic decay!
America's shifting demographics—are America’s moral values also shifting with the shifting demographics? If they are, this says something about those that comprise these demographics; and that is not good for America…to continue to be…America, the land of the free and the home to the brave.
As our national moral principles continue to be systematically and incrementally corrupted and removed from America, our nation and individuals will continue to experience even greater moral decay and deeper decline, especially under a Democrat Administration.
