In 2008, Obama campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never done in his professional life. In 2012, Obama campaigned on class warfare and “We the People” bought it. In my assessment, Obama has divided us along philosophical lines, pushed us apart, and is trying to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. However, like his liberal socialist progressive ideas and policies, this too will fail. His failures have only made things worse. His getting re-elected can only mean; “Terrible Days are Ahead” and says something not so very flattering about “We the People”.

Infighting continued amongst conservatives and Republicans this week. Karl Rove angered Tea Partiers by implying they don’t know how to pick candidates. Majority Leader Eric Cantor told anyone who would listen Republicans need to learn to craft their message better for a broader audience. Every conservative group and politician is scrambling to find a way to appeal to various groups of Americans in a way that will “work” to win them votes. It reeks of desperation…and it’s nothing new.
