Obama and his administration have demeaned…the essence of what America is and what Americans stand-for. America is exceptional…”feelings and compassion” are two of the most often used liberal terms. “Character” is no longer a liberal word because it implies self-restraint. “Good and evil” are not liberal words either as they imply a moral standard beyond one’s feelings. In assessing what position to take on moral or social questions, the liberal asks him or herself, “How do I feel about it?” or “How do I show the most compassion?”…not “What is right?’ or “What is wrong?” For the liberal, right and wrong are dismissed as unknowable, and every person chooses his or her own morality."

Liberal feelings are an extremely poor replacement for logic, decency, and common sense.

These debates were especially gratifying...Obama...has only words from a tele-prompter; with nothing to backup those words; and without a tele-prompter Obama has no words. Biden has no truths to tell so he lies, smiles, grins, and laughs.

Obama and Biden are and will always be empty suits. Their ideology has and will always fail; because that ideology, whatever they wish to call it, isn’t “Optimal” and is in direct conflict with our “American Exceptionalism”.
Reporters and pundits writing about politics and particularly presidential debates can't resist the metaphors of the ring. And why should they? The metaphors work.

"The incumbent fought with a challenger's aggression, while the GOP nominee mostly avoided heated disagreement, except to make jabs on the economy," reported the Hill, the Capitol Hill political daily. "But if Obama looked to lay Romney out on the canvas and the Republican preferred a rope-a-dope strategy, neither candidate was wholly successful."

Rope-a-dope was the clever name that Muhammad Ali, as clever with language as with the finer points of the sweet science, called his strategy...
