Romney Was Not the Problem

The Republican loss should not be pinned on its standard bearer alone…wake up…its WE THE PEOPLE…once again have failed to do our duty. For me it’s not about demographics, or special interest groups, it’s about values; the moral values that founded this great nation and allowed it to prosper and grow into the most free, progressive and powerful nation on earth. America is incrementally and systematically rejecting the moral principals upon which she was founded. As a result, our nation is experiencing unparalleled moral decay. National immorality flourishes when the heart and soul of a nation's citizens reject these principles; decline in national morality leads to moral, political, and economic decay!...

I actually agree with you, but the thing is that it isn't just the Democrats who have been corrupted, it's both major parties. The Republicans are going to have to be willing to seriously examine foreign policy at some point. The USA is not some shining knight bringing liberty to the oppressed, that's just a media fiction.

America use to be respected the world over...what happened? Moral respect for America comes more from what she “rejects”, as well as what she “accepts and tolerates”. But there is one thing that stands-out…”The Rule of Law” must never be compromised; when it is…America declines in its moral authority to represent a free people.

I'm afraid it does seem to be linked closely to demographics though.

Demographics its self NO...it’s the VALUES of those demographics that are of the utmost concern.

Our electorate is evenly divided…50%ACHEVERS--50%SLACKERS...most pundits say its demographics that won out this time around; just like in 2008, only less so, but enough for Obama to win re-election, barely….

America's shifting demographics—are America’s moral values also shifting? If they are, this says something about those that comprise these demographics; and that is not good for America…to continue to be…the land of the free and the home to the brave...

This is temporary…but for how long…until the SLACKERS realize there aren’t enough ACHIEVERS to support them. “An alternative way to make inroads into the overwhelming majority of minority votes for Democrats would be for the Republicans to articulate a coherent case for their principles and the benefits that those principles offer to all Americans”; all the while describing the short and long term consequences of Democrat principles and solutions...past, present, and future.

Small minds always leap to the answers given the last time around, which is probably why Maxine Waters keeps getting re-elected. But the last time is not necessarily the same as this time. A terrorist attack is not the same as the Cold War, a war in Afghanistan is not the same as a war in Iraq, and Mitt Romney is not the same as John McCain or Bob Dole.

But since the election, many conservatives seem to be coalescing around the explanation for our defeat given by Jenny Beth Martin of the Tea Party Patriots, who said: "What we...
