True…but the thirteen colonies had much in common and together they had just fought a common enemy and won. European nations have nothing in common and stood by (with only token resistance) while other countries fought their common enemy during both World Wars. Like most things Liberals and Socialists desire, the politics of a United Europe looks good, sounds good, and feels good; but totally unrealistic and unworkable. What may be coming…another WAR!
