Mistakes of the Past Are Back

Corbett…YES, we have lost some of our freedoms and liberties; but not the one that counts the most (at least not yet)…VOTING! It’s not only a privilege but a duty. Why have we lost some of our freedoms and liberties? Certainly not because we voted for it, but because of corrupt politicians spewing security over freedom that’s why. Being politically correct…has never and will never promote freedom and liberty, it only degrades them.

Conchfritters...WHAT price can you place on FREEDOM and LIBERTY? HISTORY has shown us that FREEDOM and LIBERTY are not free. The costs are always high no matter what category you may choose to measure them. If we are not willing to pay those costs we will lose both.

Marking The Anniversary…

ericynot1...We all need to really and truly, understand and remember that Islam is not purely a religion nor a country, but a totalitarian way of life (Sharia) with a religious component; and that the majority of Muslims do not agree with all aspects of Islam. Yet we protect both components as one under our first amendment…Stop! Really think about this…What is ISLAM? Islam is not a country nor is it an all inclusive religion; it’s a legal system, a political system, a financial system, a dress code, a moral code, and a strict social structure, yet we protect it as a first amendment issue. The second thing is; most people have no understanding of Islam’s history or its basic tenets. Is this religious component truly a religion of peace? ...Only if you are a true believer; otherwise not so peaceful. Just like in past CRUSADES…We must beat it back and beat it down to the point that Islam becomes impotent to cause the destruction and mayhem it now exports. Why…because Islam has shown it isn’t a religion of peace after all. This idea that this war on terror is caused by a few Islamic radicals is ridiculous. If that were true the non-radicals would over power the radicals in words and deeds. Which isn’t happening...is it? If the few are making it bad for the many…why doesn’t the many do something about the few who are?

WHAT IF...politicians started wars. WHAT IF...politicians had to fight wars. WHAT IF...politicians negotiated peace. They DO all of the above but one...they never have to fight wars. For if they did, they would not be so eager to start them and peace would only come with a complete (not-a-half-a*s*s) victory. Radical Islam is evil incarnate, no matter what they call themselves. Just as Japan and Germany were once threats to free people, so are Islamic fanatics by whatever label they wear, and were held in check for more than 70 years; until progressive liberals and compassionate conservatives came to power. This evil cannot be bought off and only understands one thing…brute force and a bullet to the head. Yes, America was the world's policeman (but not any longer); not because we wanted to be, but because we had to be. “The World” has fought two world wars and America was dragged into both of them, not because America was strong but because America was weak. After WWII, America became the strongest Nation on earth and was forced into becoming the world’s policeman (because no one else wanted or could do the job); fighting both cold and brushfire wars because of it for some 70+ years. It’s time for America and the WEST to rethink their role in the world, because they are now as weak or weaker than they have ever been; for HISTORY says that when America and the WEST are weak major conflicts arise producing “World Wars”. Are we approaching the threshold of another World War? It surly seems like we are! When this administration’s analysis to law enforcement across the country that the future threats to America are right-wing Christian groups, pro-life groups, second amendment groups, and returning veterans; and never says, Islamic terrorists; then we have a fundamental problem of recognizing what evil is.

I agree...WHAT I...the judge woke up one morning and found he and his entire family were be-headed. WHAT IF...the judge stopped being a Monday Morning Quarterback and really had some ideas that were worth printing. WHAT IF...WHAT IF...WHAT IF...sounds like a broken record.
Over confidence has been and will continue to be a Republican fault; until they can prove themselves in the political arena. That means standing up for what is right and clearly defining what is wrong with America; stop the political correctness (PC) games. Anyone using PC only encourages those that care nothing for anyone else’s freedom (only their own) and the survival of America and the West. Since when has being PC solved anything, it only causes more problems and creates an immoral atmosphere used to trick the electorate into keeping them in elected office. From domestic issues to dealing with international terrorists and thugs; Republicans must layout a clear vision and message that America is back and more determined than ever; and will not tolerate evil anywhere. That evil may run away, but it cannot hide forever. That America’s founding principles are as sound and true today as they were 238 years ago; and should NOT be changed for the sake of those that do not believe in them…let them show that those principles need changing; not because it makes them feel good about themselves, but because they have failed America and WHY. HISTORY and Historians will need to come up with a label for Obama and his Administration…The “Obama Era of Lies, Corruption, Lawless, Immorality, Divineness and Dividedness”. His eight years in office will be known as “America’s Lost Decade”. Obama and his entire Administration is the worst thing to ever happen to America and the World. Obama’s and his Administration’s LEGACY; “the worst President and Administration in ALL of American HISTORY”. HISTORY will also have something to say about Progressive Liberals; they will get a foot-noted in History, as well…”Caused great damage to America’s DNA due to the lies, scandals, immorality and corruption forced upon the people; with their intolerance for America’s founding and the principles enshrined in its founding documents. They failed to realize…without moral thought and a functioning moral conscience…they were the problem and America suffered for it.”
“To Defeat the Islamic State Obama Needs” a clue; which he does not have and never will. His personality and ideology will prevent any clues coming forth.

Where Have All the Leaders Gone?

Neal from PA Wrote: Sep 22, 2014 6:10 PM
What leaders do I see on America’s horizon? I am sure they're out there somewhere; I just can't see them for the PC fog. They ALL talk-the-talk and they ALL fail to walk-the-walk. I believe we still have a long way to go in finding that leader that can not only talk-the talk but walk-the-walk. It is good to know that some are learning something about history and specifically US history. Understanding our founding principles and knowing what they truly mean. Understanding that words alone never solved problems is a good first step. That accomplishments, character, and values are just as important as words.
Continued... We are not going to defeat an organization like that by killing them all. There will always be someone ready to take their place, because this is based on a theology, not holding a piece of ground or a particular objective. We’re talking about a war of ideas and that idea is not going to go away any time soon. The answer should be dispelling their theology as being miss-interpreted, as well as wrong. However, convincing them of that is a losing proposition, because although in our eyes it is wrong, not in theirs’; but it’s really not miss-interpreted for it is always been a part of Islam. Islam is a totalitarian way of life with a religious component (not a country or an all inclusive religion). It’s controlled by Imams which believe in a strict interpretation of the Quran/Koran, the sacred text of Islam, believed by Muslims to record the revelations of God to Muhammad. The Quran is used along with the Hadith to interpret Sharia Law. The Hadith in religious use is often translated as “tradition”, meaning a report of the teachings, deeds and sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The Hadith literature was compiled from oral reports that were present in society around the time of their compilation after the death of Muhammad. Islam has what seem to be two “traditions” a Shia and Sunni versions. Over the centuries both Shia and Sunni have fought one another and each version has changed; but each still advocate’s violence against all non-believers…they must convert, pay tribute or die. I just cannot believe that God would tell Muhammad that all non-believers must convert, pay tribute or die. I believe that was added by radicals of the time to exercise power, instill fear and endorse Islam as the only true religion. This idea that this is all caused by a few radicals is ridiculous. If that were true the non-radicals would over power the radicals in words and deeds. Which isn’t happening...is it? The second thing is; most people have no understanding of Islam’s history or its basic tenets. Is this religious component truly a religion of peace? ...Only if you are a true believer; otherwise not so peaceful. I believe it’s a mistake to call this a “War on Terror”, because terror is just one of many tactics being used. I see this as a “global insurgency”, which recognizes this as an insurgency and the terror nature of this war and recognizes that there are things we must do to stop the spread of this insurgency; not only for our safety, but our very survival. Fighting this insurgency is a matter of using all elements of our and the “global national” powers. There are seven elements of “global national power” starting with diplomacy, information, military, economics, financial, law enforcement, and intelligence. It’s not and can never be a military solution. So it is very important to put great pressure on other countries like Iran to stop funding Hezbollah and Hamas. We have to use our economic and global national economic power through sanctions. We have to share intelligence with our allies so they can take action against terrorist-elements in their countries. I could continue down the list; however this is a holistic kind of approach to bring this war to a level where we are sure we can defend ourselves, and we can go directly to its source and if possible, destroy it or at least make it impotent. Jihadists are totally committed, in many cases suicidal zealots that really believe their true calling is to destroy Western democracies, kill infidels, and establish a caliphate that will ultimately usher in the reign of the Mahdi; the prophesied redeemer of Islam. (Who will be or is the Mahdi?) Continued...
