Your opinion that he is sharper than previous SecDefs may or may not be true. But what good is being sharper...what exactly do you mean by SHARPER? You could say that Obama is sharper than any previous POTUS; or is it that you mean they have intelligence. Being intelligent just means you are capable; but even that doesn't make you smart. Being smart requires intelligence but a dose of common sense and wisdom; which I fail to see in either of them.

Progressivism Claims Another Life

THANKS FOR...TELLING IT LIKE IT IS... “I also approach the Eric Garner arrest video with the requisite amount of dread. What a shame. What a tragedy. What an unsettling thing to see a man on the day of his death, a premature end following a few moments of conflict with New York City police officers.” However, I too noticed that what the officer was doing was not applying a “chokehold”; not with one of his arms under Eric’s arm. Garner was unarmed and the crime was as petty as they come. But he was breaking the law. However, do we expect our police to ignore the law even when citizens complained about Garner doing just that? Our Federal Government ignores our immigration laws and we see where that has taken us. Garner chose to break the law (has done so many times in the past), he chose to resist being arrested, he chose to neglect his health; so you see it’s all about choices. Every individual has the responsibility of making his/her own choices, whether or not they are good or bad makes a difference in the consequences. Wasn’t Garner responsible for those choices and their consequences, whatever they may have been and not the police? Who decides the judgment call on using excessive force needed…the officers or some third party that wasn’t there? The real lesson from both Michael Brown and Eric Garner…our Nation has a moral dilemma. Who caused their deaths; they cause their own death by the choices they made. And in both cases the Grand Jury reaffirmed that you are responsible for the choices you make and their consequences. However, THE ROOT CAUSE for the deaths of both Michael Brown and Eric Garner is indeed BIG PROGRESSIVE GOVERNMENT. “It’s certainly an inconvenient truth, and a truth very few people want to admit. But it’s a truth nonetheless.”

Where's the Fire, Buddy?

The Democrats are in a rush to do as much damage as possible before the new Congress in 2015. Naturally they expect a little help from Republicans and they'll most likely get it.
"Obama burned his bridges with a go-it-alone presidency, and now he thinks he can paper over the damage. But it's a little late for that. He's lost whatever capital he may have had in Congress and with the American people, including many in his own party." This is why impeachment can and should be an option... America is under attack from within. Over the last 6 years, our nation has been transformed for the worse so much that one would hardly recognize it. We have a corrupt, Chicago politician in the White House who is bleeding our nation to death. Since he won re-election with the help of low information voters, a little fraud and a compliant media, the details of even further corruption has been revealed. The time has come and we must not relent until this happens. President Obama is the most corrupt president in U.S. history. His actions are against everything this country was founded upon and stands for. He is a danger to America.
The Real Lessons of Ferguson…“We Have a Moral dilemma, as a Nation”…absolutely, positively the problem. Who caused Michael Brown’s death? Michael Brown…because of his failure to understand that declaring what is good or moral must be pegged to a standard, but whose standard? Man’s or “The Creator’s”. The same must be said of our rights. Either our rights come from man, which was the dominant model throughout history, or they come from “The Creator”. One answer leads to freedom and prosperity and one leads to tyranny and poverty. Our Founders answered that question unequivocally, with “The Creator says.” They injected into our founding documents (The Rule of Law) the spirit of “what God said”. Let's get something straight...not only has Government failed blacks, they have failed themselves. Anyone that does not know the difference between RIGHT and WRONG; GOOD and EVIL deserve liberals, libertarians, and Democrats...and that's what they usually get. The Legacy of Michael Brown and the Future of Young Black Men…It seems the “black community”, liberals, and libertarians create their morality from their own desires and feelings, rather than from normal moral standards; and then blame racism or declare themselves victims, when that morality causes problems inside and outside the “rule of law”.
Just what we need another impressive resume as an academic without any common sense. He has never served in the military or Congress, nor has he been responsible for anything or run anything other than being #2 where ever he goes. Now he’s Secretary of Defense, which makes me wonder if he really knows what that means.

Ferguson Vs. New York City

For the next 2 years (just as he has done for 6 years) Obama will continue to turn everything the Republicans try to do against them. The only thing he can't is impeachment. After the trial, any politician that does not vote for impeachment would be ending his political life. Like I said politicians are cowards there is no measured and reasonable courses of action short of impeachment that will save America from the mayhem that is about to engulf America and the World at large; all because of what Obama has done.

Ferguson Won't Go Away

Ferguson will never go away...as long as there is money to be made. The old Liberal trick...tell a lie loud and often, and sooner or later it becomes the truth...only to those that do not know any better...and money in the pockets of those that do.
Corbett…you are absolutely correct on every point… President Obama and his Administration are the most corrupt president and administration in U.S. history. His actions are against everything this country was founded upon and stands for. He is a danger to America. I therefore call for his impeachment and removal from office. I urge you to join me for the good of our nation and to keep the legacy of our Founding Fathers alive. Given that he has no more elections and can claim no lasting achievements, Obama now sees amnesty as his last desperate chance at establishing some sort of legacy”… And what a legacy… The worst President and Administration in US HISTORY. The progressive liberal abyss that is now consuming America will be cut short of being successful by a Republican Congress come January 2015. In essence, the people responsible for putting this horror show in power are themselves responsible for every cataclysmic decision he and his administration makes, and the consequences thereof. Which we have only begun to see materialize, there is much more to come and it won’t be pretty. Obama is saying "go ahead and impeach me...I dare you…I double-dog dare you”. Because he thinks he cannot be impeached…believing he is being held to a different standard because he is black, giving him the audacity to think he can ignore (even violate) the Constitution with his executive orders. Any politician that fails to vote for impeachment would be ending their political life. Congress should do it for two reasons; (1) Obama’s actions have been unconstitutional; everything he has done has hurt America in so many ways. (2) To prove that America is a Nation that adheres to the “rule of law” and NO ONE (not even the President of the United States) is above the Law. Nixon would have been impeached for far less and no one died. However, Nixon saw the writing on the wall and resigned. Obama cannot see anything but the sel-fie reflection of himself in his mirror. Congress should make him not only see but hold him accountable for what he has done and how he has done it by impeaching him. He has abused and failed to honor his oath to we the people and to the office he holds. If that’s NOT high crimes and misdemeanors…what IS!
OR maybe one of the police office might be dead instead of Garner who was breaking the law and resisting arrest.
