The Loss of Trust

“The president’s wrenching failures reflect his own weakness, not the strength of the opposition.” I just cannot believe every time I think that Obama, his Administration, and the Democrat Party have hit moral bottom, they prove me wrong. NOT ME…NOT HIM…are lies about the lies already told. Yet Obama still refuses to accept responsibility for the office he holds. If he isn’t willing to accept that responsibility, he should not be President. Obama’s and Holder’s legacy is toast… they will not have the place in history they so eagerly covet. Instead of ranking with FDR and Reagan and other giants, it seems more likely that they will be a case-study in presidential failure like Jimmy Carter. WHY... (1)Great presidents and leaders not only have to enunciate their vision; they must lead by example and inspiration. Franklin Roosevelt spoke to the individual. He and Ronald Reagan had the ability to make each American feel that the president cared deeply and personally about them. Why is he planning vacations to Africa and Martha’s Vineyard this year? (2)Looking at what has transpired over these past 5 years and the current scandals in this administration is a very real reflection of the real Obama. The staggering arrogance and self-absorption in Obama and his administration, is it any wonder these scandals occurred in the first place. Should it be any surprise that they are indignant when asked to respond to legitimate questions from congressmen or news reporters? This is a group of Chicago politicians, transplanted to Washington, who believe they are above the law and whose personal and political agendas trump all else. (3) Obama’s obsession with so called social justice, spreading the wealth around and in fundamentally changing the United States from a Democratic Republic into a Democratic Socialist country and failing. (4) What is currently taking place in the Middle East is directly caused by Obama’s weak leadership. His “apology tour” did nothing to strengthen him or America in the eyes of those who have declared WAR on us and want to see us dead. I could go on and on and on…Obama’s place in HISTORY…behind Jimmy Carter, as the worst President in HISTORY.

Why We Should Stay Out of Syria

“The president's very own vision, philosophy, wisdom and willpower are going to be tested in the Middle East.” They have already been tested each and every day for five years; he has failed all but one. The one he didn’t fail was already made for him, he only had to say GO!… “Islam must embrace humility in the world or the world will humble Islam.” “Radical Islam…spring will never arrive as long as it holds sway over the minds and hearts of the people.” Yet the “Free World” continues to send money…more money to “Radical Islamists” under the assumption and disguise, that it is helping the everyday people. It only continues to prolong the sway…if the money stops the people will be forced to decide what is best for them and the sway will eventually give way to free choice by the people. The choice they make will not come easily and it will be a long brutal and bloody struggle. Anyone (myself included), civilian or military that has experienced WAR can tell you that on a theoretical level most wars are, in fact, unnecessary. Hindsight can generally find long-lost moments of opportunity that could have been a catalyst to avoid conflict. But some conflicts become inevitable – and that is very different and currently this is where we find ourselves at this point in History. The question is not “IF” it’s going to happen, but WHEN and under what circumstances. The only thing the “Free World” can do is prepare for it; making sure it does not bleed over into another “World Conflict”. The current conflicts are only a prelude…the worst is yet to come!
“Data Geeks Should Set Strategy”…NO, they should only collect and store the DATA. Only campaign data and database analysts qualified to interpret and analyze the data should be employed to help campaign managers and workers understand that data. Extracting the data can take on many faces some correct, others wrong. It is like intelligence work…you have this big jigsaw puzzle…you may not have all the pieces…so you put together what you can (verifying as you go)…then you begin making assumptions and painting the scenarios (again verifying as you paint). The thing to remember is that one of the scenarios maybe true or they all could be false. Once a scenario is proven correct, it is fully documented and saved for future reference…to be applied when addressing another jigsaw puzzle in the near or distant future.

Amnesty Nonsense

Rubio...is a big disappointment, but like many politicians one will lie and the others will swear to it. If politicians want “We the People” to support their efforts in immigration reform they must clearly address four important points (and NOT all-at-once). (1) Foremost, Lockdown the boarders. (2) The PENALTY for breaking our Immigration Laws…They should never be allowed to vote or hold a “Position of Public Trust”. Pay back any public assistance they have received. (3) NO benefits until they become US Citizens. (4) Go to the end-of-the-line for obtaining citizenship, then (learn to speak, read, and write the English language; and learn American History) before being consider for US Citizenship. So is there some common ground here? NO! The most compelling argument for amnesty… there are none! Are we a nation that adheres to the “Rule of Law”, or are we not? The most compelling argument against amnesty…there are many…The “Rule of Law” is the first and best. Immigration in general and multiculturalism is often contrasted with the concepts of assimilationism and is currently described as a "salad bowl" or "cultural mosaic" rather than a "melting pot". For America to survive into the next century she must again become a "melting pot"; else she is doomed to becoming just another 3rd world nation. Can we work toward an immigration reform that cuts government dependency in general and downsizes the welfare state? YES!...but only if politicians are willing to do the RIGHT THING, instead of the “POLITICALLY CORRECT THING”.

Who Is Being Dishonorable? Dishonest?

“Obama has created a climate conducive to government abuses, which is manifesting itself in scandalous behavior throughout the administration. Yes, we have reason to be concerned that either a rogue bureaucrat or a much higher-up with bad motives may break the law and use the information the government is collecting for political purposes. Can you say IRS? If that happens, throw the book at the abuser. Put him or her away for a long, long time. But right now I’m more worried about terrorists, and the harm they certainly would do to us — which is significantly different from the harm our government might do to us.” This assumes…first…that we trust our government and second…that there is accountability in government. Currently, we have neither…virtue and freedom go together; without virtue freedom is only something to be desired. Where do we find accountability; when there are high level career bureaucrats who wield far more pure power than elected officials, including the President? Special interests know this, which is why they spend huge sums lobbying high level bureaucrats and appointees. “We The People” are to blame for this. We keep electing and reelecting these people. They keep increasing the size of government, keeping the powerful clerks employed. We keep paying taxes for massive waste, malpractice, and malfeasance. The only people dumber than our politicians are the voters who keep electing them.

Solving the Immigration Puzzle

Government at all levels gone WILD…It is not just administrations and legislatures that are out of control. The government apparatus is so huge no person or group can control it. There are high level career bureaucrats who wield far more pure power than elected officials, including the president. Special interests know this, which is why they spend huge sums lobbying high level bureaucrats and appointees. The major argument to reduce the size of government can be centered on the unknown abuses such a massive bureaucratic structure can introduce, implement, and execute at will, without the knowledge of those in charge of governance and oversight. It conveniently allows for politicians to play the I-know-nothing game. It is curious that elected officials are against something before they are for it. Democrats, including this president, lambasted President Bush for implementing surveillance programs under the Patriot Act. Now they are lining up to defend it. This is nothing new. It is politics as usual. But they will never admit one thing, the most important thing: The United States government is too big to control. Too much power is in the hands of over educated well compensated career clerks. The United States government is an uncontrollable wild beast they refuse to tame. It serves their purposes. At the end of the day, no matter your political persuasion, “We The People” are to blame for this. We keep electing and reelecting these people. They keep increasing the size of government, keeping the powerful clerks employed. You keep paying taxes for massive waste, malpractice, and malfeasance. The only people dumber than our politicians are the voters who keep electing them.
A national nightmare…and the crime of the millennia…Obama…POTUS. "What difference does it make?"...When Liberals view themselves...above it all and can do no wrong and Conservatives view themselves...above it all and never do the right thing. They compromise on the Politically Correct and America loses. What Obama has done and how he has done it is UN-American and UN-Constitutional and his BS is still meaningless. The problem is that elected representatives on both sides of the aisle don’t care whether America has a sleeper in the White House or not. The question we should ask ourselves is “Why don’t they care?” After all, Obama has said that he is a “spy behind enemy lines”; so, giving weapons to our enemies comes naturally. Conservatives are honorable, but being honorable does not mean they should ignore Obama’s faults. Obama and his Democrats have without doubt dishonored themselves; yet the majority of “We the People” have ignored this. WHY…have we lost the values needed to even recognize what they have done? GOD, help us! http://whyobamawilllose.blogtownhall.com/
