Susan, the only way 2013 will be the year we slow America's moral decline is if the church gets its butt out of the pew and does what God's word says. It is indeed the church's fault that we are in this mess because it sat on its collective butts in the 1960s and 1970s when America took prayer and the Bible out of schools and legalized abortion. I have seen little evidence that the church loves God and/or Christ enough to stand up for them today. Instead it fears man more than God. I am afraid God is going to have to allow something catastrophic to happen just to get our attention and get us to repent. You would think given history and the track record of our founding fathers, we would be smarter than that. Apparently not...
