Let's just cut through all the BS and stay focused gang, The commies are just using this as yet another social vehicle for more and more control over our lives, It has absolutely nothing to do with healthcare. 99.9% of democrats, actually Commies these days, could give a shi* whether anyone lives or dies, period. They just want yet another area of control of our lives. Any issue will do, whether it’s race, homosexuality, women’s rights - it’s all the same to them. Just grab an issue and take more and control of all of us by passing more and more laws.

It’s pretty easy to tell by the way you throw the word “commie” around that you don’t have a clue. It’s some word that you think sounds derogatory like “poo-poo-head”.

It’s not socialism or communism or whatever flavor of badism you picked up this week to spout that’s the problem we’re facing. It’s the relationship between government and big money. In your simplistic view, if the “commie” democrats were just ousted, everything would be peachy.

Do you have any outrage over the Citizens United ruling? We’re seeing the effects of that big time this election and you’re foolish if you think that the people pouring money in have your interests at heart. Conservative, liberal, whatever. Doesn’t matter. It’s not about you.

It’s not Nazis (I doubt you know anything about that part of history, either) who are stealing the country. It’s good old home-grown greedy capitalists. And when they look out and see the divisiveness that’s helping distract from the real problem which is that the government (in general) doesn’t give a flying fig about the so-called “people”, only in power and wealth, why they’re just laughing all the way to the bank.

You are exactly right. I guess if there is any good news it would be there isn't much less for them to grab - they've just about taken it all.

June, that is funny, painfully funny!

In the wake of the Supreme Court ruling upholding the Affordable Care Act (aka "Obamacare"), NPR's "Talk of the Nation" held a seminar of sorts at the Aspen Institute's legendarily pretentious Ideas Festival. Someone in the audience asked NPR health policy correspondent Julie Rovner this question: "Today's decision is a positive decision for the estimated 50 million uninsured Americans. Who are the losers today?"

Rovner seemed to struggle to find losers. She came up with insurance companies that want the so-called individual mandate -- now a punitive tax, according to the Supreme Court -- to be much more punitive. After thinking...
