I heard about the IRS targetting the Tea Pary two years ago in the right wing news. Conservative organizations filed a law suit against the IRS, which forced them to conduct an IG investigation. That the government came out with a statement is a direct consequence of the right wing media. The DOJ did NOT come out about the AP monitoring because they wanted to. Their hand was forced. You're an idiot if you think that the "functioning of Government" is efficient, or that investigative journalism is an impediment to its inefficiencies. We actually need the press to keep the government honest. If only they did their jobs more often and report on the idiocy and lawlessness of our "efficient" government.

I was disturbed about Mr. Ramsey's comments as well. But I don't attribute it to racism. I'm just very saddened that the black community continues to perpetuate this view among themselves, mostly unnecessarily. We white folks can't change this for them. But somehow they need to get over this perception or this society will continue to have this problem. I wish we could find a strong leader to unite us instead of keeping this division alive.
