This is the law of the land and until SCOTUS invalidates NDAA, it will remain so. Study your civics and then perhaps you can contribute to adult conversation. Until then, stay in your playpen!
McCain and Graham deride Rand Paul's actions because they voted for the law that enabled the Government to drop bombs on American citizens without the necessity for indictment, trial, or conviction. The same law allows the Executive branch to arrest American citizens and hold them indefinitely without trial. Indefinitely may mean forever. It is time for Americans to wake up, educate themselves to what is happening and throw these Constitution hating politicians, on both the Democrat and Republican sides of the aisle, out of office.

Chris Christie Won't Be At CPAC

I am a longtime NRA member and I agreed with Christie that bringing public officials children into a political debate is at best distasteful and at worst, as the Governor put it, reprehensible. Lets remember that Christie was disagreeing with the NRA over that ad, not what they stand for. I don't believe Christie's fawning over Obama was seemly but I'm sure he was doing everything he could to get money for the thousands of his constituents directly affected by the hurricane. I do think his approach was wrong...that fawning could have been private while the public appearances more business like. Further, I don't believe for a minute that Christie's actions made a meaningful difference in the election...so for me, this issue is moot.
It is a clear sign of the apocalypse that Sandra Fluke and Lena Dunham are the voices of their generation.
As a strong right wing conservative, I don't think Prince Harry's statement was wrong. I do think it was unseemly and ill advised. Military men and women are in the job of destroying the enemy...we all know that and support and applaud their efforts to do so. Even so, the taking of a human life is a serious matter and should not be discussed lightly if at all.

We diminish ourselves when we demonize others because of their point of view, or because of race, religion, gender among others. Let's leave that type of thing to the pinhead Democrats.

Your argument over organization and training is imbecilic and bears no legitimacy when discussing the militia. Educate yourself and then, by all means, speak your mind. "The militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves, ... all men capable of bearing arms;..." Richard Henry Lee And, of course, by this definition, an American militia is absolutely necessary to the security of a free state to protect against prospective tyranny.

Oh, never fear Rauljg69, I have no doubt that, someday, people of your persuasion will come to know the "militia" very well indeed.
