Mitt Romney blames election loss on Obama giving out free stuff to voters. But doesn't the Republican party pander to evangelical Christians by creating the Faith Based Initiatives?

IMO the "Faith based Initiatives" (with which I disagreed & had concerns) was a tactic for getting around the effective marginalization of church-based charitable and social activities by the false Chinese wall the IRS & the bogus "separation of church & state" militant atheists & leftists had been pursuing by threatening their tax exempt status..

Now that there's been a clear ruling that religion need not hide itself to qualify for charitable tax exemption, the perceived need for FB initiatives might be past.
