Somewhere else I read she said "get off of me you fat lummox!" so you have to admire her vocabulary and give her the benefit of doubt.

Tort Reform: Remedy or Red Herring?

The problem is law schools do not limit the number of lawyers, unlike medical schools. The fierce competition resulting manifests itself in very ugly, expensive practices such as ambulance chasing, loitering in hospital hallways, engineering cases to be heard in by ignorant juries. shopping internationally for "victims", and constantly advertising for victims.

The Texas legislature mandated that mesothelioma victims had to prove some damage to their breathing capacity. 80% of the cases were dropped as a result. The excessive number of bogus cases and the outrageous pain and suffering awards created the monster John Edwards and a huge army of similar jerks who put Obama in the WH.

The question I ask of any truther encountered is: How is it that a "moron" directed a cadre of skilled detonation teams to infiltrate every single floor of the Twin Towers and not one person involved has broken ranks and confessed?
Dr. Krauthammer,

Here is how billions can be saved on health care: convert dozens of effective, safe drugs to over the counter. When Monistat was changed to OTC, how many billions were saved? I know I saved hundreds of dollars and avoided a lot of suffering. There is no reason we should not have the same freedoms as Mexicans, who can buy antibiotics, anti-virals, amphetamines, viagra and steroids, to name a few. Would this eliminate half of all doctor visits? I would bet yes.

When doctors prescribe something for the rest of your life, why not get a lifetime prescription?

It is ridiculous that a person might wait weeks to see a skin doctor just to get a hold of some 1% steroid creme. Effective treatment of shingles...
The high five to Chavez and the bow to the Saudi King were not accidental. Honduras, get in the boat with Israel.

At least the Wall Street Journal has been covering this frightening stab in the back of democracy.

BO stunk up Chicago in the mid 90's suing Citibank for sub-prime loans and used his ACORN buddies to intimidate the bankers into capitulation. His hands are bloody in the meltdown.

Now, his stoking fears of police discrimination among blacks will surely cause some deaths. He could have emphasized cooperation with authorities and that unfair treatment can be worked out in the courts. This would have saved some lives in a "teachable moment". The man is fatally conceited.

Tort reform, yes. There are sickening excesses, such as the suits against United Fruit Co. But this is just one leg of a stool. Unshackle the Insurance companies from state mandates is the second leg. The third leg is forcing doctors to post their prices on the internet and making a few more safe prescription drugs available OTC, like Pepcid and Prilosec became, for instance.

It is a ridiculous Republican claim (and I am one), to say dollars would be spent more wisely from medical savings accounts. There is a price fixing collusion among doctors to keep patients blind and totally at the mercy of gossip. The jerks can't even reveal prices for elective surgery like boob jobs. You have to pay to get an estimate!

KP, why don't you have the courage to say something about Michelle Obama as long as you're piling on Sarah and her family? Isn't MO a complete disgrace in the tight spandex pants emphasizing her generous booty and pudenda? Isn't her gauche taste in clothing a scandal to the fashionable set you hang with?

You would be apoplectic if Sarah wore outfits like Michelle!!! How about if she hid her academic history, passport and birth certificate and hung around with sleazy felons like Obama?

You don't have the courage to comment on the glaring truth-that-must-not-be-spoken, because it would be "racist". Only "rednecks" are fair game. Sickening.

The feminist movement died when Hillary didn't change the locks, double-bag Bill's possessions and toss them onto the White House lawn.

Concentrating on their imagined suffering, while ignoring Moslem women and their plight is beyond hypocritical. It is contemptuous.

Too bad you didn't see it, because Borat acted exactly like an typical Muslim as he traipsed across the U.S. His hometown in Khazikstan held an annual "Running of the Jews". He told some feminists that women rated below horses in his nation. He felt it was legitimate to throw Pamela Anderson into a bag and kidnap her for marriage. He refused to eat the food offered by some charitable Jews who took him in, and ran in terror of sleeping in their home.

The simpletons who think this movie was targeting American racism, and apparently you are one of them, missed the point entirely. To cap it all off, when Khazikstan threatened to sue, Cohen (in his Borat character) said "I don't blame them, sue that Jew!"
