House Chairman: Obama is Granting Amnesty to Illegal Immigrants Behind Americans’ Backs

This discussion shouldn't even be taking place. Obama's "order" to enact the "Dream Act" is totally illegal, & Republicans should have filed an immediate lawsuit. Obama has no right to circumvent Congress & dictate law, especially when the very same legislation failed to pass in Congress. The motivation behind this move was totally political; it was simply a ploy to secure Latino votes, regardless of citizenship status. I'm very discouraged by the lack of Republican leadership to stand up to such an illegal power grab. Why didn't they fight this from the very beginning? This inaction/failure to fight for the rule of law is very concerning; especially when so much is at stake in November. What are they thinking?

Yes, you are correct. It is illegal, and the Republicans do nothing, again. If this were anyone else, BO would be up on charges for abuse of power and wantingly violating federal law.

But wait. Eric Holder wouldn't take the case, would he?

Remember when President Obama stood in the Rose Garden and told the American people of his administration’s new plan to stop the deportation of younger illegal immigrants if they met certain criteria? Remember when he promised the policy change isn’t amnesty?

Over to you, Washington Times:

Federal immigration authorities have begun granting tentative legal status to illegal immigrants under President Obama’s deportation halt — and in some cases are even ignoring the administration’s eligibility rules to stop deportations for those who shouldn’t qualify, according to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee....
