Obama's Trouble with Numbers

Joe Wilson’s outburst was inappropriate but only because of where it took place. That said, I can certainly understand Wilson temporarily forgetting where he was and his frustration. Throughout his campaign and now during his administration Obama has distorted the truth and his statements are dishonest. Many say Obama is disingenuous in many of his statements . . . That's "politically correct" googly-goop. In my book, a lie is a lie!

Just before Wilson's emotional outburst, Obama called those who disagree with his agenda -- LIARS -- including Republican congressional leaders and skeptical American citizens.

I agree with Representative Joe Wilson . . . . Obama lies ! ! !

How Mexico Treats Illegal Aliens

Nana54 Wrote: Apr 28, 2010 1:09 PM
Since taking office, Mexico's President Calderón has repeated called on the U.S. to pass changes to immigration law that would grant legal status to about 12 million Mexicans living and working illegally in the United States. He has also strongly opposed any plans to build more fences and other barriers along US/Mexico border.

Why ? ? Because the Mexican immigrants send about $20 billion a year back to Mexico . . . and because the yearly migration of more than 400,000 people relieves Mexico of their masses of the poor. Is it any wonder that Mexico's government actually SUPPORTS illegal immigration into the U.S. and REJECT any efforts to secure the border?

Tea Party: Why the Left Doesn't Get It

Nana54 Wrote: Apr 22, 2010 3:14 PM
The TEA Party movement is not about blacks or browns versus rednecks . . . not about Democrat versus Republican . . . or even Right-wing versus Left-wing. It IS about spending and debt . . and about CHANGE in the way we function as a country. It is about voters who have been overwhelmed by government intrusion in our lives. It is about politicians who put themselves (and/or party) ahead of the people they are elected to serve and the Constitution they swear to uphold and defend. It is about politicians controlled by special interest groups and raising funds for re-election versus accountability and upholding U.S. laws.

Those who continue to bash the TEA Party movement understand what the movement is about . . . that is why...

There Bill Clinton Goes Again

We shouldn't expect any less from this ex-president who will pull out all the restraints to help those he supports get needed votes. After all this is the president who commuted the sentences of sixteen member of a violent Puerto Rican terrorist group who waged a reign of terror in over 140 U.S. bombings that resulted in American deaths and injuries. Of course, we certainly would not want to accuse Clinton that his motives had anything to do with the fact hat Hillary was running for the Senate and needed the support of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the over 1-million Hispanic voters in New York.

As a senior receiving SS, I certainly can use some extra money . . . to catch up on some NECESSITIES . . like food and utility bills. Although it is said that the cost of living did not go up during the last 12-months . . . my weekly visits to the grocery store . . . my increased utility bills, etc. . . . indicate otherwise. And given the economic policies coming from Washington . . . the economy is going to get much worse before it gets better. But I am insulted by Obama's attempt to buy my support of his "healthcare reform" . . . as well as his other dangerous policies which will further damage our country.

Nobel's Stockholm Syndrome

Apparently in 2009, the only criteria for winning the Nobel Peace Prize is to declare yourself a "citizen of the world" and go around giving speeches apologizing for all the wrongs your county (and the previous administration) committed against other "citizens of the world." Of course, Obama is strong in one of the criteria basics used by the Nobel committee . . . he definitely has the "values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population" . . . It's called a one-world government which will "spread the wealth around."

What If Obamacare Actually Happens?

Nana54 Wrote: Aug 23, 2009 8:56 AM
Obama and his radical left-wing cronies plan to reshape the political landscape to keep them in power for decades. Their three main goals are to control Energy, Healthcare, and Education.
The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we don't have. But eventually the bill will come due for these trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama's allies, unions and special interest groups to placate the left, so he can get support for his agenda.

Those who continue to close they eyes to these goals . . . are either brainless . . . or it is what they want -- or what they THINK they want.

Commies, Fascists and Perverts, Oh My!

Most of us are tempted to support the “safe schools” agenda as long as it is limited to ending bullying, and does not extend to actively affirming or promoting homosexuality. However, the GLSEN movement and Kevin Jennings' objective is not about tolerance and safety, but about changing students' attitudes that homosexuality is a "normal, positive and healthy lifestyle." As for intolerance and bullying . . . no child should have to put up with verbal or physical intimidation at school. Making schools safer, however, does not require importing a broader LGBT agenda that offends the values of many students and parents.
