And yet, the United States spends more than any other country in the world on military these days. In fact, it spends more money than the next ten countries COMBINED. We have bigger issues to deal with than to worry about dominating the entire world militarily (which is exactly what we've been doing since the fall of the USSR, and were trying to do throughout the Cold War)...
I enjoyed the article, and I especially agree with the point about how stupid the claim of Chick-Fil-A being a symbol of hate really is. Much as I think the movement to support CFA so hardcore in response to all of this is pretty stupid in its own right, the "LGBT" community that we hear from tend to cross the line in the other direction, and they deserve to be called out as Adams did here. That having been said, I don't think there's anything in the world wrong with an LGBT center existing. Adams' laughable suggestion that he would protest the center itself and get his own office is entertaining, and it serves its point of calling the motives of creating the center into question quite well...but why does it matter so much?
...What? How in the world does living in the 21st century make pandering to minority groups a good thing when it destroys the country for the rest?
Yeah. See, it's called an "analogy". That means he is pointing out the parallels. Writers do that sometimes so that stupid people can better understand exactly what is being described. Obama lures the mindless in with promises of handouts and amnesty while spending billions of dollars EVERY DAY. He orders drone strikes that kill innocent men, women, and children, some of them even American citizens. He furthers legislation that allows for the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process of law. And yet you still defend this "leader of the free world" as righteous and undeserving of criticism. Yet it is Sowell you shame as a sad little man. Pathetic.
