Is the country truly in that similar a position now? Or are the challenges more complicated?

They agree that the president is not God, and that no one could have fixed this country in 4 years! They are right in that respect.

I'll bet some idiots believed that lie that must have been fabricated by Obama fans.

From dc98.
Yes, I suppose so. Instead of complaining about Obama being on talk shows, go on talk shows as well. With an upbeat/can-do attitude!
I just read that 60% of Republicans did not bother to get out there and vote. I think that means there *are* still conservatives, Jerome, but maybe they didn't care enough for moderate Mitt.
Seriously!!

It's called being diplomatic, no? I guess there's a kind way to frame even unpleasant things.

You certainly make some good points here Ann.
Yes indeed. People are generally so self-serving. And a lot of the well-to-do are greedy. What's the solution? I don't suppose there's a way to stop the out-sourcing? Obama said one thing that sounds right: At some point in time you have to tell yourself you have "enough" money! Stop the greed. Stop the laziness. Be responsible. And care about your neighbor! Imagine that. Such old fashioned talk!
