No, PT, Bush didn't lie unless he believed there weren't WMD in Iraq and he just made it up to justify the war. Plainly, he did believe Hussein had WMD. He used them. Then he played cat and mouse with the UN inspectors. Then he kicked them out. Most reasonable observers were confident he had them. As this article asks, if Bush was corrupt enough to lie about WMD, why wasn't he self-preserving enough to plant a few canisters somewhere? Would have saved him a lot of disgrace. Saying "Bush lied" sounds more like a tantrum than a reasoned critique.
That is another view, William, an absurd that of course the author is not advancing. So, what's your view? Does the article raise important questions the media is unreasonably avoiding, or does it not?
