Generalizing from a 51% majority vote for an Obama-nation is not good grounds to write off marriage or to bless the dangerous sexual behavior that causes AIDS and syphilis. Most of the Southeast has already driven all Democrats from elective office. As more and more Christians learn to articulate their opposition to anti-marriage policies, and as we see the further consequences of children raised without fathers, I suspect we will regain the momentum that has written man-woman marriage into most of the state constitutions in the nation.

Christians are completely inarticulate when it comes to gay marriage. Fewer and fewer people care about a bronze age pro-slavery morality that says that an unmarried virgin must marry her rapist and which proscribes the death penalty for children who pick up sticks on Saturdays.

You're right. The most uneducated states, and the poorest states, and the states with the highest rate of divorce and illegitimate births are all solid red states.

If it was up to me, we'd let you guys keep those states.

spoken like a phony elitist who knows next to nothing about America

surprised you ignore the fact that places like those cities with high populations of ghetto blacks also have the highest rates of all social ills as well the highest rates of functional illiteracy

Yet massof2schitts with the highest percentage of college grads, also sent the corrupt and totally phony hocumhantus warren to the Senate

But then I am sure you can provide a long list of intellectuals from the blue states who are infesting congress as well as convincing all of us what a true intellectual the hussein is.....

Excuse me for existing. It is so nice for you to tell me how uneducated and poor I am.
Fortunately I know better than to listen to over-educated idiots.

Is Gomer Pyle one of the Four Horseman of the Liberal Apocalypse?

The superficially surprising thing about last week’s announcement that Jim Nabors had married his boyfriend of four decades was not so much the nuptials themselves – I always felt Gomer was just going through the motions with Lou-Ann Poovie. Rather, it was the cultural reaction to the news that a huge star back in his day had decided he would tell even if we didn’t ask.

There was no reaction. America, including conservatives regardless of their feelings about gay marriage, collectively shrugged their shoulders and generally wished the elderly...
