Star says "America will not get back on the path to strength and prosperity without restoration of freedom, limited government, free markets, and traditional values." Nice, Star, but the traditional values part is code for "hate gays, hate Mexicans, tell owmen what to do" and that's NOT OK. In fact, its an anathema to the other ideals, which many of us on either side of the line love - like limited government, freedom, and free markets. Oh and let's not forget, them jumped on Todd Akin, not becuase he is "conservative" but because he's an ignorant dunce, who truly beleives in garbage. He is offensive to women and all men who love and respect women.

What is it about the traditional values that you hate so much, mulbery? working for a living? Taking care of your offspring? Accepting responsibility for your actions? Paying your debts? Treating others with respect? Using respectful language and dress in public? Keeping commitments? Being all you can be? Being thankful? Lending a helping hand?

Legitimate question. I completely agree with all of the things you name as "traditional values." There are just a few (NOT the ones you mention) that aren't so good. But you have just desribed me perfectly. In many, many ways, I am a man of traditional values and I wisht hat everyone would do all of those things that you list above. I even do charitable things to help people get on those "tracks" so to speak.

To the liberal, that which is good is bad, and that which is bad is good.

King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

The United States, from day one, was a project about principles and ideals.

The super power that emerged and grew from the handful of colonists that began settling here was not the product of where those colonists happened to land, but the ideals and principles in their head and heart – applied in how they lived their lives.

The Republican Party was founded in 1854 to address one great blot on the nation’s founding legacy – the existence of slavery in a nation founded under the ideal of freedom under God.

Runaway slave and self-educated abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass said “I...
