Sure, because the roomate had no culpability. I mean, no one ever gets teased for being gay, or tunred into a pariah. that's the whole point of Brown's article - gays are welcome in society with open arms and everyone is just delighted that they are here and open. DO YOU GET IT YET?

Its irrelevant? When our constitution pledges to protect equal right sfor everyone, and yet gays have been put to death? I think its very relevant. Is it relevant if your son is a boy scoutn and you're told you can't lead his troop becausae you're gay? Or if you aren't allowed to visit your companion of 40 years in the hospital while he berathes his last breath, because you're not legally married? I shoudl say its very relevant and if you don't get that, you're operating at a serious intellectual defecit.

Oh really? What does your warped reality claim to be the reasons for their murders? Because they had bad breath?

Seriously, you are just dead set on your idea that no one has ever harmed a gay person, so there's no comparison to blacks? What a horrible thing to say. What about the young man who committed suicide in college becuase his roomate aired his gay hookup on the internet? Do you think that just didnt happen? I got new for you, his parents are quite sure he's gone. And there are many, many others. ignoring those facts and promulgating bigorty is simply murderous.

Well then can Tebow stop praying on the field and flaunting his Christianity? Oh wait, he won't be on the field anymore. Good, problem solved.

Anyone who dares to oppose a homosexual's right to liberty should suffer the consequences. Yes, you can argue that they don't deserve to live openly or marry, but people were doing the same about blacks 40 years ago, and today, they would suffer some consequences, like lose their job, etc., The same should apply for people who oppose gays having rights. And to a great exent, it does. So get used to it and quit complaining.

You must be joking, do you think you'd like to tell matthew Shepherd's parents that there's no comparison between the lynching, beating death of their son and the lynching beating death of blacks? Are you some kind of a human fossil? How dare you. This is why this article sucks, it encourages people like you to open their ignorant mouths. I hope you burn in a car accident, this afternoon wouldn't be soon enough.

Do you remember when race wasn't protected, but used as a justification to strip people of 100% of their rights and dignity as a human being? It only went on for 100 years here, until some crazy progressive people put a stop to it. And as for an "immutable characteristic" I could have sex with a woman, just like any heterosexual could have sex with a man, but we are pre-programmed one way or the other. Immutably. And finally, public announcement? There shoudl be no need for it, but if the guys' going to be seen holding hands with a man in public, just because of how things are, he feels the need to let people know ahead of time. Its not his fault. Its people like you who make that necessary

Why Is There a Hookup Culture?

The priests are saving the little boys for themselves. And its not a hookup if he's an altar boy at your church.
