Fraudulent Feminism vs. High School Football

I totally agree with you! I believe our male population, starting in pre-school and going all the way through high school have now been "dumbed down" with regards to their role in society. Too many are just too soft. Don't get me wrong. They need to learn respect for women and for each other and not to be a bully, but to tell a male football player to not hit the girl on the team "too hard" to avoid hurting her is just wrong. If you put yourself in a position to be a teamplayer, then play with the big boys "legitimately" or get off the damned porch....in sports or otherwise!

Meritocracy is nowhere more manifest in modern America than on the high school football field.

The boys who play the game know who their most courageous teammates are, and they just as readily recognize the fastest, the smartest and the hardest working. In the weeks of physical training and full-pad practices that precede their first game, they learn to admire each other's skills and trust each other's character. Having been through much together -- and having started with equal chances to prove themselves on the field -- they become a team.

That is not what happened in Florida last...
