Romney did as you suggest for 2016, with minor negativity in the primary process, which I don't really believe mattered. Fifty-one percent of American no longer want the Republic as founded. They want something else, and they can't even clearly describe what that is. We have finally crossed the Rubicon. Fifty years of cultural and social degradation and educational malfeasance have produced a new people.
