How about also doing something for whites and men? How about ending race and gender preferences? Why are we treated as invisible by the Republicans? They expect our votes, but do not really care about our situations.

We should care about this why? We're likely to get Michelle next. Regardless, we are not going to see any ideological diversity from the Democrats. Whomever they nominate will continue today's policies.
If conservatives would get out front on these issues, it would make a huge difference in marketing conservatism. But I don't think they have the guts to.
On the other hand, conservatives have not done anything to reduce the amount of income redistribution away from the middle class by cutting the myriad welfare programs and cutting legal immigration by unskilled workers. And many conservatives are supporting means testing social security payments, which would turn social security into yet another welfare program and increase the income redistribution. The conservative movement needs to do more to support the middle class. To fight political correctness, an ideology that marginalizes the middle class. Moreover, they need to articulate their opposition to political correctness. Instead, they are afraid of looking bad: of being portrayed badly in the media.

Why does not one connect these statistics to the way men have been marginalized in family life? Men have no reproductive rights. A woman can choose to abort without even telling the father. A man has no choice about child support if the woman chooses to have the child. He cannot opt out, and he cannot choose to have a child. And if he does have a child, he is only there at the mercy of the mother. If she tires of him she can kick him out and collect child support for decades to come. Support set at ever higher levels thanks to feminist lobbies. With no serious expectation of custody for the man and no significant amount of time to see the children and actually influence them. Why would a man want marriage?
The existing marriage and child rearing laws have turned men into nothing more than walking wallets with no reproductive rights at all. Seeing your kids every other weekend is not a valid form of parenting. Women can opt out of parenthood during pregnancy without the father even knowing. Men have no opt-out at all. If a woman wants the baby, the man is on the hook for life and will not have any expectation of a meaningful relationship with the child. Feminists have turned the current notion of marriage into an absolute mockery and Republicans and conservatives have gone along with it. So what will happen in gay divorce? Will they do a testosterone test to see who pays?
I have two questions. 1. Does a lower capital gains rate such as the current 15% result in a higher proportion of tax revenue being contributed by the wealthy? 2. Would a total elimination of the capital gains rate as in a "fair tax" result in a higher proportion of the tax revenue being contributed by the middle class?
