Mitt Romney's campaign gave Hope to sensible Americans....It's to bad the republican party is so out in right field that it has taken to eating it's own in the primarys ...forcing candidates to get bogged down in social issues that are not relevent today. If republicans want to win they need to go back to a more libertarian stance. Let the church's do there job when it comes to Abortion and Gays. Stop Bashing immigrants and propose solid immigration policy that will solve the problem. Get rid of all the leaders who were around during the Bush years who contributed to the deficit problem. And more importanly go out to voters and explain conservative economic policy expecially to young voters ..trust me they get it !!!

Good points. I think the primary season should be shortened and possibly the convention should be sooner so the GOP funds can be released before the other candidate has already run so many disparaging, negative ads that the GOP nominee can never undo them or catch up.

Dear Mitt,

I have awakened on November 7 to learn that your bid for the presidency was unsuccessful. In the midst of the disappointment that I share with you, I want to thank you for devoting years of your life to the wearisome task of running for president. Millions of Americans are grateful to you.

You have been one of my heroes for the past 48 years. I still recall vividly the valiant cross country race you ran at our Cranbrook Homecoming in October of 1964—a race...
