No No No, a spork has what could be considered a sharp edge!!! (Hmmm maybe we could get her to run with it....)
Some one should get her back to the institution before bed time!!!! Mental incompetence extraordinaire!!! Both Nancy Pelokinumbski and also Bill My Head is empty but my hate is full Maher. Where did I read that common sense has become so rare that it should be considered a super power.
Do you mean that he can't sign treaties when the Senate is in recess? I wonder if the Senate and House can pass laws without his signature when he is out at recess.....
First you should understand the actual science and models that predict climate warming. (Notice how the wording has gradually been changed to climate "change") The models are flawed, repeat FLAWED. They rely on "greenhouse" gases to raise to very high levels in the atmosphere for the effect to occur. Since there is now verified data on the levels that greenhouse gases CAN reach in the atmosphere (the primary gas - water vapor) NEVER rises to those necessary levels. So the models have to rebuilt, but they aren't creating new models because the new models don't support the theory that there is a warming effect.
"not worth the paper it's printed on" did you ever wonder if Obama is just a printer error from a 3D printer. His head seems pretty hollow....
I wish it were a little warmer... I wish there was actually something we could do to make it warmer. Alas though, I lost my remote thermostat for the sun......
Perhaps the only real valid number to analyze the economy is the end consumer spending total combined with savings and debt increases. It would measure pretty much everything that makes the economy function, consumers actually spending their money and the growth of "net worth" or "net debt" in the private sector. After all the production of goods is meaningless if those goods don't make it the consumer through purchases.
The legislatures have abdicated their legislative authority to the administrative and judicial branches, not just in DC but even in the states. When an entire court (6-1) ignores the facts of the case and the law governing just punishment in such a blatant way, it is imperative on the legislators to use their proper authority and REMOVE those judges from the bench through impeachment. Not to simply roll over and do nothing, as the Kansas legislature has apparently decided to do. As the legislators become more and more concerned with "keeping their jobs" rather than protecting the citizens from government and criminals, they accept faulty and improper decisions by judges and actions of bureaucrats and administration officials that choose to ignore their positions of upholding the law. The laws that they pass (and the judiciary and administration have pledged to uphold and protect) become powerless and of no consequence. Judges choose to cite "procedural" errors rather than see the case for what it is (or was). The failure to follow procedure did not restore the lives of the victims nor did it cast doubt on the guilt of the defendants. The 6 judges that failed to see the travesty that they were participating in should be removed quickly and without hesitation from the bench. Failure to do so is the same as giving approval to the actions of the judges (and the judges actions were to give approval to the criminals in their crimes). What are the next steps if the legislators fail to act. The only remaining recourse is to remove BOTH the judges and the legislators that failed to act. The citizens have to become more and more outraged, and our judges and legislators are doing their best at making that happen. Over and over and over and over.......
Actually, it would be more appropriate to "let them choose to pick lettuce." After all, it's freedom of choice that made this country prosperous. By taking such a large bite out of personal and corporate prosperity the choices available are diminished. At some point it was a given that businesses would flee the regulation and high tax cost of the US. After all, business is about making and keeping money. NOT about "creating jobs". Creating jobs is a RESULT of making profit. That's something a liberal (even if they know it) will never acknowledge. (Of course, there are Always those who are liberal because they simply cannot understand how things work, which is why they shelter themselves in liberal dogma. They don't have to think for themselves!)
Leading from behind can best be defined as using the person(s) ahead of you as a shield from you being harmed and to cover your hasty retreat.
