I detect a little tongue in cheek in jd's post.
Bringing an end to Obama's imperial Presidency and worrying about the name of the Redskins are equivalent? You've certainly convinced me.
I notice the term Low Information Voter is not on the liberals radar screen as an offensive name. Now there is a term that is actually meant to be offensive, but liberals don't want to get into that discussion.

Article One and Stunts

The real problem is salesmanship. The Republicans simply do not have sufficient PR skills to sell defunding the government to the American public. This stunt, and that is a good word for it, is simply an attempt at deflecting blame away from R's and hanging it on the court. If the court does not side with the R's or does not act in time, the R's can say we tried but the court let us down. The only hope we have to stop Obama legally is to win big in 2016. Nothing should be done to jeopardize winning that election. Going forward, the Republicans need to recognize the need for good public relations and elevate people who have those skills to position of leadership. Fortunately, Eric Cantor is out of the way. He would have been a disaster. McConnell and Boehner and need to go as well.

The Petulant President

Or would that be our first Red Skin president?
It might have been a joke to you DX, but your liberal Low IQ friends accepted it as a convincing argument.
I wonder if the government will abide by its own rules and begin to hire non-English speaking air traffic controllers?
If taxpayers are expected to pay for her birth control wouldn't it be fair for taxpayers to also pay for enough booze for men to agree to have sex with her? Let's be honest, she wouldn't start looking good until about 2 am. How many guys can afford to drink until that time of the night?

An Opportunity For Congressman Issa

If you were in their shoes and your choices were accepting immunity and spilling everything you know, or going to jail, which would you choose?
Impeaching Holder now might be counter productive. He would have to be tried in the Senate and convicted before he could be removed from office. With the Dems in charge in the Senate that wouldn't happen. The exercise would look partisan to some and might hurt the Reps in the next election. If the Repubs hold the House and gain control of the Senate, then it would be time to act.

I don't see any confusion here. Everyone hates the IRS. Nailing them would be a victory even most Dems would applaud. Of course, assuming Issa and company are successful, the Dem Party would soon spin the story to the LIVs that the government will be restricted in how much tax it can collect from the rich and that will reduce the amount of earned income tax credits, food stamps, etc. they will receive.
