Let’s start with a shocking, but true premise: If you are a patriotic American, you believe that there are circumstances under which it is right to take up arms against your own government. That statement feels wrong to me. It reeks of militia and McVeigh and toothless loons holed up with guns in cabins in order to avoid paying income taxes.
But the fact remains that the rationale for the existence of the nation known as the United States of America, which first appeared in print 236 years ago today, is entirely dependent on the premise...

When the British threatened our nation, the Continental Army couldn't resist the might of the Empire alone. It was the ordinary citizenry, the militia who gathered their own arms and responded to the call of the nation. (continued)
There are corrupt people in all places. Look at our government, at the military (Dempsey who represents the UN yet leads OUR military - TRAITOR), in law enforcement - how many there (New York City, Chicago ex's) are working AGAINST our legitimate government, assisting the traitors and domestic enemies who are destroying our nation.
Militia are us, all of us who decide to not lose the right to own our own homes, let the UN steal America's natural resources (Agenda 21)
*The f the militia is the community defending their homes, their states, their nation.
should be
The "famous" term 'militia' is the community defending their homes, their states, their nation, NOT rogues of destruction.
