Santorum has a niche appeal, I voted for him, but I have to admit I don't believe he can beat Obama. Tax cuts promote growth, something our economy needs. Tax increases stifle growth. But then your grasp of history, both economic and world, seems to be minimal. Up until 1960, 50% or more of taxes were spent on the military and 20% was spent on social welfare items. Today 20% is spent on the military and 50% on welfare. It is not the cost of the military or war our children will have to pay for, it is the welfare in it's various forms, that the Democrats hand out to curry votes.

Reagan destroyed the USSR, years before it's predicted collapse, saving/freeing millions of lives and billions of dollars over the long term. Reagan's efforts to cut Energy and Education were impeded by the Democrats, sound familiar? That's how DC works. Obama tripled the National debt in three years and promises to do more damage if he gets another term. What did we get for that? Obamacare, which no one wants, even his supporters want to be exempt. Stimulus, which did nothing except pay off Obama's political debts and delay any recovery of our economy. Obama doubled down in Afghanistan, got us into Libya and influenced the uprising in Egypt. We will soon have three new radical Islamic regimes to deal with. Obama has bowed to...

Liberals are incapable of seeing any difference as they despise the Vets as much as we despise the leeches created by welfare and other liberal programs. Besides the obvious nuances don't fit their talking points and the rest of the drivel spewed by their communist leaders.
