Mr Hanson got this exactly right. The "O" has been an effective salesman of progressive ideas, but now the bills are coming due and there is nothing to show for them. Now he's trying to sell us more of the same and people are not buying anymore. If ideas were a car and you bought a lemon, would you go back to the dealership and buy the same make and model, especially if you were still making payments on the first one? I know, I know bla, bla bla it's Bush's fault Romney is just a rebranded Bush. If that's true then Obama is just a rebranded Carter.

Obama's Game Changes

Usually after a presidential debate, both sides spin the results. But after the first face-off between President Obama and challenger Mitt Romney, Obama's exasperated handlers made no such effort. How could they when most opinion polls revealed that two-thirds of viewers thought Obama clearly lost?

Within minutes of the parting handshake, the liberal base went ballistic. Bill Maher, Chris Matthews and Michael Moore all but accused Obama of embarrassing the progressive cause.
