Howard Dean: Honestly, Everyone's Going to Have to Pay Higher Taxes Soon

Would you be for a Flat Tax for everyone if structured like this. Every Person would fill out a tax form with income. Each individual would take a 22k deduction (which is proverty level for a family of 4) no other deductions. So basically everyone that makes less that 22k pays no taxes. All income over 22k is taxed at a flat rate of 15%. No loop holes everyone treated the same. If you live in house or apartment same taxes. One kid or 5 kids same deduction. Govt out of who wins and loses. Today taxes or set so that whoever in power determines what is FAIR. 2/3rds vote needed to raise taxes and must vote again in two years or rates auto reverts to 15%. GET THE SPECIAL INTEREST OUT OF TAXES!

Not a bad plan.
But I would make everyone pay something.
I would go so far as to require that if taxes are raised on anyone, and equal percent must come out of welfare checks.
Then we'd see how ready folks are to let taxes go up.

This candid assessment from former DNC Chairman Howard Dean comes after the election, of course -- but better late than never, I suppose.  Listen up, middle class.  The truth comes out:

Note well Larry nodding in agreement as Dean delivers his "heretical" news.  Whether or not they'll say so publicly, most Lefties recognize that across-the-board tax hikes are a necessary ingredient in their broader project of unending government expansionism.  Beating up on "the rich" is a politically-convenient ploy for the moment,...
