Of course it doesn't reduce your taxes. But fewer teachers are required when there are fewer students and fewer teachers equal fewer dues dollars to the NEA. It's not a very difficult equation, actually. Even an Obama supporter should be able to do that math. But your notion that home schooling is dangerous for the child is ludicrous and completely unfounded. Or, what some folks might call a malicious lie.

Who knew? My parents are cool. Homeschooling is becoming hipster. Celebrity parents like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie proudly discuss their homeschooling lifestyle. But pioneers like my parents set the trend of educational freedom.
