Forget it, doberman. They are not going to listen. They fall for the same electability argument every 4 years.
You certainly are entitled to your opinion Jason. I happen to think it is irrational to keep putting up the same mush every 4 years and expecting conservative policy solutions along with a balanced budget. That may be what you folks in CA have been relegated to doing but I think I'll pass. In future posts, keep your little intellectual formulas to yourself. I can respect an honest difference of opinion but I don't need condescension from you or anybody else.
If its likability, then Romney is in trouble. People really don't care for him. The head to head polls at this point don't mean much because they reflect name recognition more than anything else. We're voting for a president this fall, not a corporate CEO. Willard is gonna get thrashed.
yeah, right. Keep thinking that way.
No. I did that in 92, 96, 00, 08. Not this year. I did n't do it in 11 either. The governor's race I voted for the independent candidate. When the repubs put up a constitutional, experienced (in gov), courageous candidate, I vote for him. Vote for the candidate that you believe has the right ideals and solutions. Neither Romney nor Obama have them.
Romney will not get the votes of these people. When I hear him speak, he reminds me of the corporate Managers I've had explaining why there will be no raise or where the plant is relocating to. He will not connect with the voters.
Guy You people really don't get it. You think every voter thinks the way you do, don't ya? They don't. There are plenty of lower, middle-class, blue collar Republicans who don't think the way you do about blue-blood romney. They believe in free enterprise. Their parents and grandparents were farmers, skilled artisans plying a trade to make a decent living and small businesses. They are disgusted by the corporate bailouts, corporate raiders, and corporate loopholes that Romney and his ilk have engaged in. Free Enterprise-YES; Corporate Capitalism-NO!
Does anyone on here think that Willard Romney is more conservative than Reagan, besides muffled?
I don't care WHAT Willard Mitt says now. His entire term as governor shows that he is a social progressive willing to experiment big government programs. I also don't care even if it was on the state level. He revealed his true colors. I'll say again what i've said before: Don't listen to his rhetoric today; look at his actual record.
