Everyone (besides Sandusky, of course) did exactly what they were supposed to do--take any and all grievances directly up the chain of command. Joe Paterno is the real rape victim here.

Say, how did that "personhood amendment" turn out again? You know, in one of the reddest, most conservative, most evangelical states in the entire country?

I think you should be forced out, Ms Kelly. Your willingness to infringe on the First Amendment rights of those groups is as un-American as it gets.

And yet Pat Buchanan opposes one of the most effective means of population control (abortion). Here's a little thought experiment: what would the minority populations in NYC, Chicago or Los Angeles look like if abortion had never been made legal?
Well that was dumb. Brave and stupid often overlap.
How am I supposed to have any kind of profitable discussion with someone who apparently considers taxes to be "punishment"? If you feel that way, you should be advocating for the complete abolition of all taxes, since why should the government be "punishing" its citizens at all?
9% of the income of a person making only $25,000 a year is a much more significant amount of money to them than 9% (or even 25 or 30 or 50%) of the income of a person making $250,000 a year is to that person. A flat tax is regressive and inherently harmful to the poor. But who cares about them, right?
That's okay, though, because it's the noble and right thing to do for working class families to vote against their own interests so that the rich can be just a little bit richer. Massive and ever-expanding disparities in wealth between the richest and poorest citizens are what truly make America great. When those black families are being squeezed to their last dime while trying to put food on the table, they can just close their eyes and picture millionaire Herman Cain on his brand new yacht and live vicariously through him for a few minutes.
Of course they're going to pay more taxes, as an absolute number, than the poor. That's not what I said. "Less money in taxes" refers to their current tax situation, including federal income.
So you're just completely indifferent to your own financial situation, out of deference to the inherent superiority and righteousness of the wealthy (aka the Job Creators®). That's great. In case anyone has ever wondered how things like a caste system managed to take off in many parts of the world, I present to you Exhibit A.
