You do not KNOW that there is not a multiverse. There is no evidence that proves it does or does not. Much like with god. There is no proof that god exists or does not exist. I thought jesus was god, so he was the father of himself...

how about reading the stories in the gospels side by side. They directly contradict each other. Reading them one at a time your brain pieces together "oh yeah, I read something like that before" but if you read them together, you will see that they are contradicting each other and have to use some serious mental gymnastics to force them to fit (even though it doesn't)

you are correct. The bible is the written word of many men. There is nothing outside of the bible to prove the existence of god. God was created by man

If by some occurrence all knowledge and every copy of the bible were removed from the face of the Earth, none of the stories would ever exist again. If by some occurrence that same event eliminated all scientific knowledge, most of what we know would eventually be recovered. God and religion is a creation of MAN. The bible is a creation of man to try to justify god. In the beginning of this universe there was the singularity, the single point where everything that ever was and to be in this universe existed. Then that singularity rapidly expanded, thus the Big Bang. We did not come into existence from nothing, but from that singularity. We do not know what existed before the singularity. There may had been another universe.

The simple use of a condom would dramatically slow down the spread of AIDS. Yet the church is more worried about people having sex than protecting them. So you may have reports that this pope helped people with AIDS in Argentina, why didn't he tell them to use protection if they are going to have sex? That probably would have helped them NOT GET THE DISEASE.

Their love story (between two men) is as touching as any other love story. Don't tell me that the bible is against same sex love and relations.
