john: The party disowned him. The Dem party has more than its share of nuts, but the low I.Q./no insight bloggers would never make them the poster boys for the entire party. It is pure mindless drivel.

Milt: This author was referring to "legitimate" rape, which was not a part of the platform but part of the smears that the low I.Q. trolls on the Left like to prattle on about. This kind of nonsense and false generalization has no place in a respectable publication. It is pure idiocy.

I stopped reading after the advice that the Republican party stop talking about "legitimate rape." Does he really think this was an issue put forward by the party? Is he that clueless? A couple of fringe candidates made crazy comments like this. It does not reflect the views of the Republican party. Isn't it interesting that the Dems' lunatics represent only themselves but the Republicans' nuts represent the entire party, even in the absence of any evidence whatsover that this is so. I can't imagine why Townhall would print something so lacking in factual accuracy and honest analysis.

Don't forget the vote fraud. That helped too.

I agree, Obama-Drama. He left out one thing, though: The Dems' skill at vote fraud. When we have Republican poll watchers being ejected or blocked from polling places by Democrats in crucial swing states, along with other suspicious activity, I wonder how much of Obama's lead was legitimate. Lesson 1 from this lesson for Republicans must be making all this mischief more difficult.
There are other irregularities and suspicious actions. See The Washington Times.

lois: Investment and savings do help the economy. That's how we get our jobs. Investors, including Romney's Bain, provide money to companies to get off the ground and grow. Money saved and invested provides funds to give out loans to companies and individuals. If we tax investments too heavily, people move their money, or themselves if it gets too bad, leaving our economy to atrophy.
The U.N. poll watchers were amazed by the lax\ controls on our voting process. They couldn't believe we didn't require a photo I.D. That should be instituted, along with: 1) All voting locations send their numbers at exactly the same time so that fraudsters don't have time to cheat. 2) Voting areas should be filmed 100% of the time and 100% of the entire area, inside and out, 24 hours a day, during voting days. They must safeguard this film. I'm sure this can be done using techology. 3) Kicking a poll watcher out is a felony with a mandatory sentence of one year. 4) No positioning big, imposing men at the door of the polls unless they are police officers. I'm sure more could be done, but those are some ideas.
In picking on Allen West, they picked on the wrong person.
