Isn't it funny how the Left claim to think everyone is "basically good" and then insist people must be controlled. Meanwhile, the Religious Right acknowledge the sin nature of man, but feel the best system is to give people freedom after teaching them character in childhood. I think the Right has it (ahem) right. The Left are self deceived.

An insight that ought to be obvious, but which our wayward society has totally overlooked.

Left-libs have no consistency in their views. If everyone were "basically good" then complete human freedom could only produce good results. That they simultaneously demand totalitarian control over all aspects of existence proves that they don't believe what they profess.

If it weren't for double-standards left-libs would have no standards at all.
