3. Deport every illegal that comes into contact with any level of government. It is INSANE to give drivers licenses to illegals. You find out that the applicant is illegal, take him/her into custody and start the deportation process. It doesn't have to be difficult and expensive. Transport them to the nearest border with their home country, usher them across, and let their own country deal with the problem. 4. 5. Re-vamp the legal immigration process to emphasize skills and the ability to be self-supporting. Require that immigrants are not eligible for any form of government aid. If they can't support themselves they need to go back to their home country. And as long as there are able-bodied people on welfare the US needs absolutely no unskilled workers whether permanent or temporary.
