Of course, raising the EXEMPTION is also a good idea!

The child tax CREDIT is $1000. That is what is taken off the taxes you owe. The exemption is the amount of money you take off your taxable income and includes adults. And Yes I have four kids, and I know the child tax CREDIT is $1000 because one of our kids turned 17 so we lost one credit, as noted specifically by our tax preparer. We only got to take $3000 off our tax bill this year, so believe me I noticed. We still got to claim her under exemptions.

He says the child tax credit should be doubled from $3000 to $6000. $3000 sounds good to me because right now it's only $1000. (he doesn't know this and he has kids??)
No comparison between Massachusetts Romneycare and Obamacare! In Massachusetts they said you have to have insurance, and helped people to get it, with subsidies. For those of us with insurance already, if we liked our insurance we got to keep our insurance. The state of Massachusetts isn't interfering anywhere near how the federal government/Obamacare is interfering with your health and insurance.
