Most Americans agree with conservative values. We don't need a candidate who veers from those core values, but who appeals to a broad audience.

This is what scares me about pushing Sarah Palin to the forefront. Much like Hillary on the other side of the aisle, too many people just hate her too passionately to put her forth as a candidate who can win a majority. We need someone like Mitt Romney who holds our views, but doesn't cause moderates to turn their nose in disgust.
