White women typically enjoy prosperity that Black men and other minorities are striving to attain. Educated Latino, Arab, and Asian men are accepted where blacks are not. Knowing this many young blacks give up on education believing it wont make any difference.

Springfield, you are very correct. I studied the Cromwell England during a class at Moody Bible Institute. Here's a guy who was suppose to be a representing the Gospel of Christ, but instead used the Bible as a means for his own fame. As an African American (black, whatever) I have a hard time accepting the good with the bad in America's history. I guess the point is that NOW is all that really matters. I think for the sake of a better America that some steps should be taken to create a strong middle class and erase poverty. Many blacks are spiraling downward and racism is a part of the reason.
