Enthusiasm Craters for Obama Amongst Young Voters

Women care very little about a man’s political views, they want their guy to be generous with a buck. Recent polls show that Obama is the ladies choice with 70 % of likely voters, most would gladly change places with Michelle. Mitt Romney has won the admiration of millions of Cancer survivors; he has not divorced his wife Ann despite her health problems. But Romney cannot move into the White House unless he pulls more ladies away from Obama; the only way that is possible is to guarantee every woman voter a Platinum American Express Card. The National debt will then be increased but Romney will then become our next president.

Yes morris and it disgusts me (a woman) that so many women just want to be taken care of. I am a woman who grew up in the decade of women fighting for recognition that we actually DO have a brain and we can do Math and do get Engineering and we can be Scientists. Now today, it disgusts me to look at most of the young women out there merely wanting to be sex objects. They all dress alike (what little clothes they have on - even in their offices while at work) and they all have the same bleached blonde long scraggly hair and they all have an abundance of plastic surgery before the achieve the age of 30.

Yes, that disgusts me because you are right......they all just want to be taken care of and they don't care WHO is taking care of them

Hmm.. not sure where your 70% comes from. Hyperbole?

Even the outside stretches of liberal Reuters the figure is currently supposed to be about 54%. That's a loooong way from 70%.

My guess would put the real rate is around 34% with that going to the "obliviots" who have never had to buy groceries. But.. my guess is about as useful as a poll too.

I believe you are completely wrong. In fact your talking points resemble the Democratic underground spiel to their minions nearly word for word.

Romney can win because polls are only a snapshot in time, what we are seeing happen is how Romney in every demographic is opening a lead on Obama.

Generosity with a buck is hard to do when you are unemployed, ask any women how she feels about that.

3 months from now Obama will have surrendered any lead he now has.

anderson -- how I just described women generally today is accurate. I AM a strong Conservative woman who has enjoyed an excellent career while rearing 4 children and I have a wonderful husband (we are married 48 years) and I NEVER thought nor believed that he or any man was merely there just to take care of me. I am proud to say that ALL of our children also do NOT believe that as well and they are ALL very well educated (3 out of 4 have advanced degrees and we are only middle income folks) and are producing and assets to our beloved America.
Is that concept gone now?

Carol:

I do believe that YOU from a female point of view are accurate to a point. My 35 plus years of working clearly showed a lot of women like yourself, however it is a very recent phenom that many are demonstrating the behaviors you describe.

The really good part I observed among a good portion of younger women was that role models at work such as yourself paid dividends among the vapid types you describe, many changed their ways because of women like you.

Take that any way you like but I saw it happen many times..
A new poll out shows that the youth vote that helped propel President Obama to the White House in 2008 won't be there for the Democrat to bank on this fall.

Young voters have historically preferred Democrats, but Obama's share of the youth vote in 2008 was historically large. The poll, conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute in conjunction with the Berkley Center at Georgetown University, finds that 48 percent of young voters prefer the President. In 2008, though, Obama won 66 percent of that youth vote - a massive drop in support for the President.

The youth...
