That's why we need a constitutional amendment allowing for judicial term limits (preferably no longer than 12 years) and for a mechanism of removal other than impeachment.

Actually it's a reversal of Gresham's Law because California is dealing away its citizens with higher value and hoarding those with lesser value.

You notice that all these a-holes who say Nazism is a child of the Right can never bring themselves to say that the full name of the movement was National Socialism and the full name of the party was the National Socialist German Workers Party. Saying the full names alone reveals the lie about Nazism being of the Right.

Welfare and the debt to pay for it consumes over 60% of federal spending, including Social Security. Not only that, welfare (along with Social Security) is not a proper Federal activity. Defense is a legitimate federal power.

Obama's Muslim Mess

That would be you that's incredibly naive if not stupid, Sean. Quoting you: "...there have been substantial declines in the percentages saying suicide bombings and other forms of violence against civilian targets can be justified to defend Islam against its enemies. Wide majorities say such attacks are, at most, rarely acceptable." Even at rarely acceptable, that's solid majorities of hundreds of millions of Muslims who say it's OK to commit violence against others in the name of aggressive Islam. That's your own source. Even if we use your minority numbers that is still hundreds of millions of Muslims supporting violence to spread Islam. How many Christians are proposing war against Islam to spread Christianity? There...

Obama's Muslim Mess

Out of all the incidents you cite in your first paragraph, only one of the perpetrators (Eric Rudolph) used Christianity as a motive. Regardless, how many Christians took to the streets to celebrate those incidents? Right, zero. In the meantime, hundreds of thousands (at minimum) of Muslims take to the streets to publicly celebrate every Islamic attack against the West. To dismiss the terrorists as extremists is incredibly naive if not stupid. It's clear the terrorists have popular and state support in the Muslim world. The West had better start thinking along them or us lines, and acting on it. The Muslims have been for decades.

Islamophobia? Not Really

Islam is a religion whose true tenets are incompatible with the US Constitution and most major facets of our culture. I fail to see why opposition to Islam (especially Islamofascism) and the importation of its incompatible elements and adherents is wrong. The only things Islam has been good at creating is destruction and suffering as proven by the band of death and misery across Africa, Europe and Asia from Atlantic to Pacific that is Islam's realms. Even the historical intellectual "achievements" attributed to Muslim cultures are things they took from neighboring (or conquered) Christian, Jewish and Indian peoples. I saw this written a while ago, and it's supposed to be humorous, but it's a lot closer to truth than many people want...

Dr. Williams, I listened to as much of you on Rush's show today as my schedule would permit. You were right on. I wish I could have stayed to listen to Dr. Sowell's comments. Social Security really is nothing but a US government-sponsored Ponzi scheme and there is no Constitutional justification for it.

I agree with Akagi, it's unlikely in light of the Wong decision that children of illegals born here could be defined as non-citizens absent a constitutional amendment. There is a more practical idea that can use another Civil War amendment, the 13th. Under the 13th Amendment, slavery is illegal "except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted". So make illegals subject to to that provision. If they are caught, work them hard for several years (or rent their labor out) with no income to send home, no money in their pocket and only three hots and a cot to show for their labor per day. When their term is up, ship their behinds home and let's see how quickly they want to come back.
