Looks like the unions don't care about their retired members, as they let their pensions be cut significantly. Which makes sense since they no longer contribute to union coffers. So much for unions looking out for their former workers. We can expect retired union members to get more of this as time goes on.

The BBC reports Twinkies firm Hostess Brands wins liquidation bid.

Note that the first step in liquidation will be the firing of 15,000 workers including the closure of 33 bakeries, 565 distribution centers, approximately 5,500 delivery routes and 570 bakery outlet stores.
